Okay this might be my new favorite company! Their stuff reminds me of Burt's Bees, except it smells even better and costs much less! I love supporting small businesses. My husband and I have gotten pretty big into eating organic and supporting eco friendly, good for your body, small businesses like this one! (Ever since I watched Food Inc. which, sidenote, is very eye-opening. I realize it's made to tug at your heartstrings, but still, there is some info in there that's worth knowing!)
Anyways, my new friend Alicia over at Eco Natural Soap sent me a wonderful little package of products to try out AND she's also offering one of you lucky readers two soaps, one balm, and one lip balm (all of your choice)!
Here are the products I got to try out:
Chef's Friend Odor Remover Bar: I don't cook with garlic or onions much, but I had to test this baby out with some garlic so I made my hubby some garlic cheese fries with fresh cut garlic and then put the bar to the test. I scrubbed my fingers for a minute or so, making sure to get under my nails, and I kid you not, the smell was gone! That's pretty impressive since garlic usually stays on your hands for 3+ days in my experience. It was really nice because being pregnant the last thing I wanted to do is be haunted by the smell of garlic!
Exotic Butters Luxury Skin Balm: This stuff is awesome! I have this one patch of skin between my index fingers and my pinkies that get super dry every winter. This package arrived just in time because we got our first snow yesterday! I rubbed a little of this stuff on said area and it was much softer than the skin on the rest of my hands! I also liked that it is very light. With heavy lotions I sometimes can't stand the way it feels on my hands, but this stuff absorbed right in!
Luscious Lips/Lip Relief All Natural Balm: This stuff feel EXACTLY like Burt's Bees and it's about 70 cents cheaper. When you go through a tube a month that adds up. I'm going to be stocking up on these babies. I think it's very important to use natural, organic chap stick because you know how it rubs off after awhile? You know where it goes, right? You end up ingesting most of it! I got to try this stuff out in all three flavors and they are all wonderful!
Seaweed & Cucumber Exotic Butters Complexion Bar: This soap felt great on my skin. It left my face feeling soft and hydrated. I've been using apricot scrub for so long I never stopped to realize that HELLO, I'm 23, I don't have acne anymore, in fact, my skin is usually pretty dry. So in comes a new face wash more suited to my skin's needs. I love this stuff!
Skin Renewal "Pure Delight" Body Butter: This stuff is fun! It's all whipped up into a yummy body butter. It has such a great texture, so light and soft. And it smells delicous! I just want to put it all over because it leaves skin soft and smelling yummy.
Sensitive Areas Shaving Bar: This bar also smells SO GOOD! And most importantly, it left my bikini line, legs, and armpits soft and un-irritated. I have always avoided shaving my bikini line because of sensitivity, but this stuff is much better than normal shaving cream for sensitive areas. If you are prone to getting itchy, irritated skin when you shave, give it a try!
To sum it up, I love all their products! It was such a pleasure working with Alicia and it was so great to get a fun package full of delicious smelling goodies! These products are very pleasing to all the senses and would make wonderful gifts! It's important to take care of your body and use natural products, not ones filled with chemicals and who knows what else. I would recommend Eco Natural Soaps to anyone (and I am)!

Digi Scrapping
here's what I've been up to lately:
If you can read the dates you'll see I'm playing catch up, but still, isn't scrapbooking fun? I find digital scrapbooking way less intimidating then traditional scrapbooking because if I make a mistake I can fix it with just the click of a mouse. Anyways, if any of you haven't visited Shabby Princess, do so! They've got tons of cute, FREE digital scrapbooking kits.
On another note, we are moving yet again. I know, ridiculous, right? Well here's an explanation: we are unexpectedly expecting baby #2! I can already tell this little one's a trouble maker because he/she is coming about 4 years earlier than planned, lol. Little Sam is only 11 months old and I am already over 4 months preggo. We were pretty blindsided by the news and to handle it I let go of everything that wasn't absolutely required of me (thus no blog entries for awhile) BUT we have had enough time to accept it and I'm excited to welcome another little cutie into our family. Of course on those days when Sam is grumpy I wonder how I'm going to handle two babies, but once they are old enough to really play together they'll have lots of fun :) We find out in 6 days if it's a boy or a girl. I'm nervous, really hoping for a girl so I can have one of each, but we'll see.
So my whole point in bringing this up: we are moving to a smaller place. Opposite of what you would think, right? With two babies we won't be able to comfortably afford our current place (remember the hubby's still in school) so it's time to downgrade. There is an apartment complex I have my eye on because of it's great location but it has no official dining room. We are looking at some bar tables and stools to see if we could squeeze one of those in the corner of the living room, but we'll see. I'll miss our dining room table, but how often do we really have company for dinner anyways? And they do have some cute bar tables out there!
Well I hope you don't mind me divulging my personal life here :)
